I have no rules on how weak or strong your Pokémon are, but I ask for some realism with this. Players can have up to six Pokémon with them in their immediate party along with some boxed. Not as many as you'd normally see as battling isn't really the main focus here (unless you're in a program related to Pokémon battling specifically). Your character can be an incoming brand new student, an upperclassmen, one that is pursuing a second degree, or even one that is in a graduate program. You can be studying as a flamboyant actor about to start at Pokéstar studios, studying as an ambitious future gym leader, studying to be a kind-hearted Pokémon ranger, or even studying to pursue law or film or criminal justice or nursing. I highly encourage players to get creative with this. Nope! Your character can be studying in any program you'd see either in real life or the Pokémon world. Fanmade regions are not allowed at all, sorry.Īre there any limitations on majors and minors? Due to the fact that time works in a solely linear fashion, Hisui is not permitted, unless you can give me an insanely awesome time traveler story. This includes any of the main stay regions, Fiore, Orre, Almia, the Orange Islands, and so on. For simplicity's sake, I'm going to state that characters cannot be younger than sixteen years old, but you can really go as high as you want in upper years (with reason, of course).Īny region that is officially acknowledged by Pokémon is allowed. That said, if you want to have older characters, then that's completely fine too. This is based on public university, so your character should be within their late teenage to mid-young adult years. Characters who have official art, even if they do not represent that canonical character, will still be turned away. ![]() If you want to reference canonical characters within your backstory (ie: your character or their parents were part of a regional team that a canonical character destroyed, your character or their family were employed by the Aether Foundation, you were the Youngster Joey that had their hopes and dreams crushed on Route 2 as a kid, etc), then that is completely fine. ![]() This means that canonical characters cannot be partners, spouses, parents, or children, but I may be open to distant relations. I will allow players to distantly relate their characters to canonical characters within reason. As many as you can handle! Just remember that you're responsible for all of them.
